"Un-Civil War"
  by JokerJay

Written By: Jaivon Brown

“What’s so civil about war anyway?”- Axl Rose

I carry the cross of homicide
My heart feels so heavy deep down inside
They all die
Who don’t follow this law
My soul’s so empty
It’s not there anymore
Everything is roses
When somebody falls from my gun
They try to escape
But all they do is run
Not knowing what’s in store
No hope but a brick wall
A time of un-civil decadence
Now we’re standing at the edge of evanescence
Why is there such a thing?
As a popular war?
I joined this thing with a head of steam
Not knowing the cost
Everything I do is killing
Everything I know is pain
These wars don’t go down so easily
My life’s always against the grain
