We are
but
two notes sung
on a whim

Sent adrift
in the wind

unchained
and unafraid

Riding the wave
of currents
as they sway

Knowing
In the back of our minds

God’s got this thing

Amusing –
how others
pair off randomly

Forcing the chemistry

Fully lacking
in natural abilities

We be –

one voice
strong and free

a love song

of

unchained
melodies

This is just as beautiful as the piece it is responding to. "Unchained & Unafraid", that was wonderful. And the way you concluded it...(sigh)... Tranquil.
