"The one who jones for love and keeps themselves from it"

Love jones
I’m Jonesing for love
But I have no one to love me
Which puts me in a bit of a predicament
Because I have a lot of love to give
With no one to give it to
I feel like a child who just ran to the candy store just to find out it was closed
But in my case I’m the one who is locking door
Keeping myself from the possibility of finding the one who loves me
And the one I should love
It is said if you ask not you have not
It is true
I have not asked so don’t have right now
I have not even asked her
Her name
And I do not have any knowledge of her
Just a mental picture
that appears every time I close my eyes
The faces continue to change
because I let fear get in the way of my opportunity
To find the one who can fill this empty spot in my side
I’m constantly saying the words
Because the words are easy to say
The actions are where the challenge lye
Putting my self out there
In a state of vulnerability
Of what I dread
It s tarts with an “R” and can be summed up in a two letter words
It’s amazing how much power I allow this word to have over me
When I think about it
It ‘s pretty absurd to let the fear of one word alter my actions
Forcefully forgetting my attractions
I have toward those who I would like to approach
So I use this as a message to stop being a punk
What’s the worst that can happen
All she can say is no
