Are our struggles to gain something
Make a difference or achieve the impossible

From the abusive parent or partner
Who you just can’t seem to leave
To the starvation that your family
Is going through because life is unfair

From the wars that we watch our children fight
So that freedom and equality can be ours
To the dangers that seem to erupt each day
Making it unsafe and difficult to just live life easy

Struggles make us and break us
Learning and creating a new entry
In our lives
So that tomorrow...
