"Shades of regret"
  by urban_priincesz

Still me . yet lost
In a time where I
Cant hide , the
Candy doesn't taste
As sweet as it used to
The love we "shared "
Doesn't feel as good as it used to
The butterflies that helped me
Fly Sky high
When you were around
Retreated to a more happier habitat
The constant days and dreams
You and me
"Forever will be"
Have faded
Into that dark spot
To float down with all that I want to forget
Maybe one day
Just perhaps
I may sit back
Realizing that
Your broken heart
Spoke those words
That broke rhyme
Your hurt soul cried
While I thought of someone else at night
The charred remnants of our love
Once everything , we were
Each others eternity
Left , cold , lonely
I wish now
It was easier to love you
Once again
But I gave you up , let you down
to be with your best friend .
