Dear Dahlia
won't blossom
listening to my exhausting,
fumes,
returning pure airs,
yet wilting
gathering dust
parched from thirst
thirsting for
the burst of bloom,
I paced the room,
dripping syringes of
distilled water,
bottled feeding,
spritzing, misting
leaves, shedding
light and untangling vines
reclaiming the
buds of my own
life
such a transitive way of putting things into focus. i got a sense that without nourishment, the flower just wilts and dies, the same can be said bout our mind & soul, as it too needs nourishment and environmental changes or just like the flower, it'll wilt and die. good piece
