Beyond the liquid measures of my desires
Beyond the solid strengths of my own self-will

As a God-sent spirit you came and carried me;
Beyond the ears that I seek with
Beyond the eyes that I cry with
Beyond the mouth the I smile with
and Beyond the hands I touch with.

As a God-sent lover you came and carried me;
Beyond my pains
Beyond my tears
Beyond my weak riches
and Beyond love, now I can love.

You carried me with your strongest weakness: love,
and that is how I know you are God-sent
and that is how I know that I am able to love and be loved.
