Man - (man)n. ~ 1) The provider, the connector, the sole protector. When something's gone wrong, he's the corrector. The one person you should have MAD respect for, love maker to his wife and would never disrespect her. 2) From black man, to man, to all mankind, a man isn't just a word, it's a state of mind. The one who's there when his family's in a bind, he takes on the world to keep the world off your mind. 3) All seeing, all knowing, check the way I keep flowing, when the chips are down, he makes sure the family keeps going. The tender that keeps the garden growing; the reaper of the seeds that he keeps on sewing. 4) The captain of his ship, the one that deserves an afternoon sip, he takes his family on a trip, pays for dinner AND leaves a good tip. When he gets mad sometimes a brother might flip, when someone gets out of line and gives him too much lip. 5) "Big baller", "shot caller", overprotective of his daughter. On her birthday, he shows off the new bracelet that he bought her. She's daddy's little girl and he's her loving proud father, to him that little girl walks on water. 6) To a son his father's always on top, and he's a spitting image, a chip off the old block. They like to call him "the old man", dad, or even pops, but one thing's for sure he'll be a man until he drops.
