Lord
is my praise worthy enough to reach and bless you
is my worship sincere enough for your ears
for this temple was given
for me to take care of
you know clean keep swept
a good steward have i kept
your temple vacant
just for your living
not only a temple but a garden was given
to water my thoughts with your words thats water living
are my fruits almost ripe
its nearing harvest season

has my hands suffered
was my work in vain
was my tears for sorrow and joy
or to get peoples pity gain
has my sword been swift to tear tares from the grain
have i really felt tribulation
or even a ounce of Jesus pain
do i endure or complain when life starts to rain
sheltering myself with the world til the sun shines again
smiling like i conquered
yet that stumblingblock still remains

do my prayers find attention in your Holy ears
do you smile when i write these poems
and wish i was near
so i could whisper them softly
like your Spirit when He speaks guidance into my lonely ears
yes i say lonely ears
because i cant always hear your voice over
traffics moving,sirens blaring,bus breaks squeaks
birds chirping,and these people swearing
my eyes try and keep focus
but Lord its hard
i can barely see you because what people are wearing

it seems fellowship
has turned to some secret way of finding who you are wedding
some with the wrong intention
sniffing out the weak
hopping bed to bed then
returning back to the flock like nothing happened
while the other hurts
promising not to cover the others nakedness
yet the other sits at the end of the table
grinning,smiling,and laughing
your physical church has been playing the harlot
and become unpleasing
i feel for it you have lost your passion
endow me with your intimacy
your ways and instructions
i`ll delight and be glad in

my imagination is completely yours
i`m naked
got nothing to be hiding
my thoughts are beautiful visions of you
coming off the thrown
to dance with your people sincerely
given up praise and worship to your name
i wish i could hear the Heavens
everytime another gets saved and gains a new name
a prodigal spirit where are
soon i`ll return home again
Lord keep the door open
i`ll be running when i see the gates
still covered in your blood and tears
knowing you`ll wipe my face
because of you
my suffering is no shame
neither do i feel disgrace
i have brothers
that i`ve yet to see their face
Noah,Moses,Paul,Peter,Elijah,Enoch
how beautiful he was taken without a trace
Lord just show your chest if not your face
so i may lay my head
like John the Beloved and enter your rest

so Father i ask
are these words sincere from my heart
or just cleverness written
does my mind think of you often
or is it i`m looking as you as something super-fiction
am i really consumed by you
or is it just another in the meantime addiction
I know that i know its love
my heart holds no conviction

Father your temple is clean
for you to come visit
i just ask of you for gifts
brought from you by Spirit
guess its time for me to depart
catch some sleep
i know because i hear your Spirit
whisper it
