duel collision of antique power & crystal autonomy
Quicksand march bound to bloody remarks
Crosses are burned & stuck into the backs of “heathens”
Buddha sits idly by plump & jolly with Zen

Missiles are dispatched by the retaliation points of David’s star
agitating Allah’s furious swarm-nested heart
His fundamentalists’ followers
still revel in their precious tongue lashings

Cowards babble to crush the free spirit
Diatribe of kinetic dialogue burns effigies
Continental soul penetration splints
Cerebral disintegration grows malaise as ill vines
Spacious gap of fanaticism seeps infectious

The body vows to capture my soul
& shackle it to links of pain
My mind promises to deceive my instinct,
my primacy, my intuition
My heart tends to stumble upon daggers left behind
by divinely oratorical ‘prophets’
who condemn with stirring eyes & delusional tongues
They drape themselves in the crimson guise cloak of martyrdom
& declare almighty vengeance upon the defiant

and worship in the temple of the rational,
