"Chaos & Serenity"
  by alastor

Here it stands bare balancing chaos & serenity
The essence of nature naked
Undressed unveiling the properly clothed
manifesting the season thru it’s molten veins
At the core an invisible lantern glows entranced
As the sky speaks for heaven’s crippled voice
the seasonal flock shifts in esoteric sense
Many of them are simply prey for spray
They stride/glide in complete harmony
The spring birds out of remission
immediately begin to serenade in secret amorous languages
Chirping as though back in Eden
Lover’s anthem soundtrack blasts
while the cohesive walk hand in delicate hand
Quite the orchestra of fowl!
prying open the orificed gates with feathered lungs & fleshy horns
The composer’s bird brain puts Mozart to reverent shame
Now gazing at the ground absent was not the dark liquid glass
sitting atop an unfurbished habitat;
but the reflection of one’s once lovely glow of the burnt sky
bouncing off of swaying heads of grass
This dark lake was contaminated by the golden voice of the quieted Sun
Growing ripples lassoed onto my drunken retina
and distorted the storming ball of warmth
Stunning the distant voice of the cosmos
Silencing the gleaming crown
Melting the warmth of the sun flare corona king
The beauty of the stirring echoes could succumb
a lonely virgin to smile
This flaming devil could order seductive demons
to dance on fancied eyes of mine
The thirsty star could even command the mindless fish
to trod about leaving them dancing on evaporated oxygen
Black glazed the polluted waters lie emotionless
Calm & Placid it leisurely lies around
like a lazy uncle in the crevices of his favorite cabaret
Drunk & honest standing bare naked
Undressed unveiling the properly clothed
