"blackened skies (- upon, suns' rise -)"
  by imperfect beauTy

Goo Goo Dolls - Iris (City of Angels Soundtrack) -

pupils
..no longer dilated

as the inevitable night

`
f
`
e
`

`
l
`

forcing
the fleeing of fleeting moments,
once thrust forth by the painfully blatant sun,
the unleashing of treachery's spell

..darkness had indeed come..

along with the stripping,
acquired alongside daybreak n'

my grateful soul
...began to awaken

easy, don't come of slumber,
so night, makes "alive" of me, and no longer, must i cower

no longer are my optics subjected to cause
or purpose to scour

for,

no longer would i have to bare witness to the obvious ''shambles'' of our remains

...of love losts, disdain...

`==========================================`

blackened skies

bring about,
the resting, of eyes

a misunderstood souls,
cries

casting blanket
upon emblazoned suns setting blur,

visible,
are no longer the self inflicted injuries, i incur

it is only within these blackened skies,
exists allowance to obscure

...consequences of ill construction
brought upon in daylight hours existence

when the purity of intent,
lost its innocence...

and

were mangled amidst the agony of
the meddling suns ray

for,
along with the clarity of day

obvious,
becomes of every mistake made

spot lighted,
becomes of each dream, slayed

showcased,
becomes of sorrows

/....` each & every one `....\

so i welcome
the warmth,
darkness provides

savor
the seconds
of blackened skies

for i,

again

am made to be broken

/....` upon the rising of the sun `....\

DAMN! you are just too too much! The wordplay and the imagery in this piece is so off the hook, not to mention how dope the concept is alone. Like wow.. honestly, you never cease to amaze me madam i.b. - T.I.D.
