When I look in the mirror at myself
of my reflection looking back at me
thinking am I beautiful....when I see other people in the background
saying NO...you need to change your image
change you from inside and out
you're not perfect when you need to be
Be superwoman...the invinicible...woman who can do anything
be independent that's what I hear from the left side of me
while the right is still deciding....
When I'm picking at myself for no reason
tearing myself down for what
so I can be thin....instead of a full figured woman
that's the genes given to me
to be intelligent....to be on my own in this world....
be laid back and be smart about what I do
no matter what's my decision...
when I'll always know that I am a beautiful girl...

this is for a friend of mine
who doesn't look within herself
for what she really has.....
