This month I went back to school
Some bully wanted my money for food.
I told him no and he said run,
Then he pulled out a gun.
It was the scariest thing in my life,
Caused me to have so much strife.
He told me to have some money tomorrow,
Allowed me to go home in sorrow.
Asked my cousin Kell what to do,
He said I will handle this for you.
He told me to let him handle this dude,
Promised he’d go back with me to school.
I went to sleep in total fright,
The next day in school there was a fight.
My cousin Kell didn’t throw a punch,
This all happened while at lunch.
I stood up for myself you see,
I was the man I always wanted to be.
Didn’t get suspended cause it was self defense,
All that drama, so much suspense.
No need to worry that’s over and done,
Now I can enjoy my honey bun.
