"AND STILL I REMEMBER (AWAKEN)"
by DCpoet34
- This Poem is a response to the poem
And still I remember(slumber)
by
One
Afraid to love
Afraid to live
Afraid to offer
This love I have to give
Her leaving
Brought out the worst in me
She was the first...for me
Love hurts...for me
In the bed
One side is warm
One side is cold
Dreams keep me company
Awaken to no one to hold
Awaken to a reality
Full of Fallacy
One day, my eyes will know happiness
And one who hurts will imagine me
