Apologetically,
he said his ''i'm sorrys'',
on repeat
Yet
.\ upon deaf ears, they fell /.
For, she
Was shouting over he,
her angst and grief
Oblivious to the efforts of a tired him
and his unheard words, offering relief
Attempts at synchronized progression
Left lingering questions
As chords of discontentment,
strangled that weakened esophagus of his
Trampling over his emotions, shoulders,
He lay, chest pressed against concrete,
weighted by her feet
As she became absorbed, epitomizing the definition of what selfish is
...and she said
'' where were u, when u broke the heart of ME..?''
...and he said
'' can't you see?
Its not about you...
"WE" iS THE HARDEST PART OF ANY RELATiONSHiP. VERY COMPARABLE TO MOViNG MOUNTAiNS. THE LAST QUOTES ARE VERY NESCESSARY... FUNNY HOW YOU HAVE TO HEAR SOMEONE SAY iT TO SEE..THAT iTS ABOUT "WE"!!
That was impacting to say the least, it shows the flip side to broken relationships. I think we as women sometimes become blind to the men and their griefs because we feel more relevant, and I feel sometimes that has to do more with the fact that they aren't expressive as we are and we percieve them to be strong and uncaring, unmoved by the situation. This just depicted the frustration they go through. Ib love how you did this!
