"ALWAYS THERE"
A MIZZ HONEY and Amina1389 Definity Collaboration

  MIZZ HONEY:

YOU ARE.........

MY SISTAH

MY FRIEND

MY ROCK........

WHEN IM DOWN AND OUT

YOUR THERE WITH OUT A DOUBT

MY MIND IS STRUGGLING TO FIND ITS WAY

BUT YOU ARE THERE AND TOGETHER WE PRAY

SO MUCH PAIN I'VE HAD TO BARE

THANKS TO YOU I'VE NEVER PULED OUT MY HIAR

PROTECTING ME FROM LIFE ITS SELF

ALWAYS THERE WHEN I NEEDED HELP

YOUR ALWAYS THERE THROUGH THICK AND THIN

AND THIS IS WHAT MAKES YOU

MY SIS........

MY FRIEND.........

YOUR ALWAYS THERE

I MADE THIS POEM ESPECIALLY FOR YOU

YOUR ALWAYS THERE GIVING ME WISDOM

FAITH TO GO ON IN LIFE

KNOWING WITH GOD ILL NEVER LOSE SIGHT

YOU'VE TAUGHT ME WELL

AND NOW I KNOW

YOUR ALWAYS THERE FOR ME

  Amina1389 Definity:

I'm inspired by your strength Sis,

as I watch you grow.

Never could I have imagined

a reflection of poetic royalty.

You have it all...

and you didn't even know it.

You shine like a Black Diamond.

You have grace & pride;

you're in control of it.

I have no choice

I have to be here

I fear that I'll forget

and begin to rip out my heart;

instead of my hair.

I'm smiling inside,

as I pray for us

to bear life's burdens

never

betraying each others trust.

You are my sister,

you are my friend.

From this day on

to the middle passage way's

beginning.

We held hands tight

as I read you stories

of the day when

there would come a KING

to see us through strife

and lead us into glory.

The day when a man

would not know his name

and he would mark it

with an X;

beginning the revelations

of revolutions that would yield

America's first Brown-skin president.

Yes, I was always there and

we were sisters then.

As closely bonded as we are now.

I had confidence in the soul

of such a wise, empowered child.

Born of a Nubian Queen

whose womanhood is richly profiled.

I could not love your spirit more

then I love you

my beloved

my sister

my friend

right now.

The bond of friendship and platonic love. Its great. To have someone that is so close that you can call them your sister; then write and awesome peice about it. Bravo.
