""A Vampire Bit My Pen""

Fatigue setting in w/my pad in hand
Peripheral sunrises in sight
Emotional fluids are in high demand
Flirting w/ a vampire out of spite.
Come get some…

Constant nods prior to each notation
Having a phobia of leaving my pen alone
Thought after thought is the repetition
Metaphors lap dancing now thinking
they are grown..
Aight…

Venting about mishaps on a daily
Impersonal odes to keep behavior in check
Nurturing a ballpoint like my baby
Not realizing bite marks on its neck..
Damn..!!

I love this analogy!...Sometimes the vampire on MY pen does more than "bite!"....Way past marks, it'll have the jugular severed! (lol) ----Excellent expressions in this!

AHA! lol I am always amazed at your ability to dance around subjects and use metaphors so the subject line/title drwas the reader in but they are (me anyway) pleasantly suprised when the actual subject matter is revealed line by line....nicely done and once again I have NOT been disappointed by your skill and amazing ability.
