is snuffed out by vicious hands
The hands that kindle the flames

Hypocrisy steals each happy moment
and silences the youthful voices

the authoritive figures,
are like implements of malice
with-holding all fortune and richness
and in the polluted airs of every street
the fumes of all that scorch are heavy
-they suffocate the freedoms of humanity-
they deprive a man of his limbs
leaving him handicapped...spiritless.

"I Want My Freedom Back"

I have been looking for freedom
I been looking for my freedom in every direction that I go
I've been looking for my freedom since I was, ten years old
And I realized that I don't own my freedom
I've been waiting for my freedom to possibly knock on my door
and say hello have you misplaced me
but no where has my freedom been found
I've want my freedom back because it belongs to me
my freedom is mine to do with what I please
I need my freedom
bring my freedom back to me
Bring me back those joyous occasions
so I can enjoy them endlessly
Where is my freedom
Where is the revolution of my forefathers
that they spoke of in the 60s
I want my freedom
I want to be able to walk these streets without crossed eyes
Glaring at me
Without clinched purses held...
